Call us today for a beautiful lawn tomorrow!
Would you love to have a weed free beautiful lawn without all the headache? Tired of throwing away money on that huge bag of weed and feed and dissatisfied with its results? Let us save you time, money, and worry.
Fertilization
Your lawn needs the proper amount of nutrients to thrive during the growing season. There are three primary nutrients every lawn needs, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Nitrogen promotes healthy leaf growth and green color. Phosphorus is essential for root development. Potassium helps strengthen the lawn to prevent stress from drought and disease. As part of our 7 application treatment plan, we apply just the right amount of slow release nitrogen fertilizer to feed your lawn during the growing season. This will help the grass compete with potential weeds and recover from insects and disease. Our annual soil testing will also help keep your lawn on the right track.
Weed Control
Weeds are not only an eye sore but can interfere and compete with grass. If left untreated, weeds can out grow the lawn stealing nutrients, water, and eventually sunshine making it difficult for the grass to survive. For our IPM (Integrated Pest Management) we have created a 7 application treatment program focuses on year round weed control while building a dense thick green lawn.
Insect Control
Insects can be a nuisance to lawns. Most healthy dense lawns are able to resist and recover from insect damage. There are many insects such as army worms, cinch bugs, or mole crickets that feed on grass leaves, stems, and roots. Even adequate management may not be enough to protect your grass from their damage. Other insects, like fleas or ticks, hide and wait in the lawn waiting for you or your children or pets to pass by and hitch a ride eventually making their way into your home all the while possibly carrying disease and potentially causing harm. We offer our yard guard program for added protection against these unwanted pests. These 3 treatments from spring to fall will protect your family, pets, and lawn giving you more piece of mind and less worry.
Grub Control
Another pest that loves to feed on delicious grass roots are grub worms. Grub worms are actually larvae from Japanese Beetles, green June beetles, masked chafers, or Oriental beetles. This can have a negative impact in two ways. Grubs can weaken the lawn and cause dead spots by eating the roots. Raccoons, opossums, birds, skunks, armadillos, or moles love to dig holes in the lawn and eat them too. The best time to treat for grubs will be spring, early summer, and fall. If you have a grub problem, we can take care of it with our grub control treatment.
Aeration
There are many cultural practices you can do to create a healthy lawn. Aeration is one of them. Aeration decreases soil compaction and allows oxygen and water to reach turf roots. The rule of thumb is, if you can't easily push a screwdriver into the soil, then water or air cannot easily reach the roots. Our aeration process removes cores from the soil to improve soil compaction to provide adequate oxygen and water back to the roots.
